Talk to our teamHemodialysis is a treatment that filters waste products, excess salts, and fluid from your blood when your kidneys can no longer do so. Blood is passed through a special filter called a dialyser, cleaned, and returned to your body — typically over a 3 to 4 hour session.
Most patients on maintenance hemodialysis require three sessions per week. The exact frequency is decided by your nephrologist based on your kidney function, fluid status, and overall health.
A standard session typically lasts 3 to 4 hours. SLEDD sessions for critically ill patients can extend up to 8 to 10 hours under close monitoring.
Yes, many of our patients continue working full-time. Our flexible day, evening and nocturnal slots are designed to fit around your job, family commitments and lifestyle.
